X-act 12.5th anniversary
This year the X-act, the smallest SOUND PROJECTS multipurpose speaker system celebrates its 12,5th anniversary. Eventually the X-act became a sought after loudspeaker by guitar players like Steve Howe (Yes), Sigi Schwab or Peter Gabriel, who wanted the best amplification from the smallest box for their precious instruments.
Soon keyboard players and vocalists followed and opted for the X-act as an unavoidable but rewarding extension of their voice or instrument. And recently many rental companies decided to invest in this versatile, self-powered, full range monitor.
This year Concert Sound (UK), R.R. Showequipment (NL) and Focus Amsterdam enlarged their inventory of X-acts for their leading supplying role in the entertainment industry. More X-acts went to Peter Gabriel, a pair to Paul McCartney and to Dutch keyboard player Eric van de Bovenkamp (Marco Borsato a.o.).
The reason is obvious; the X-act never fails to impress the critical user time and time again in many different situations: personal amplification, front of house, floormonitor, fixed installation, etc.
