SPL90 added to Sigma Series

European launch of the Sound Projects SPL90 at ProLight+Sound; a self powered, high output, mid-high cabinet. The SPL90 makes a better life for stage hands and sound crew as an ultra light, yet very powerful building block. Comprehensive stacking and flying possibilities allow precise tailoring of sound distribution and visual appearance. In combinations with Sound Projects bass horns and subs, system SPL can be tailored to match personal taste, program material and/or venue size.

With the SPL90 small two bin stacks can be selected to play acoustic traditional music, an intimate jazz club or theatre. But with the same systems and the same ease, walls of sound can be stacked and / or rigged to cater for the largest rock or dance events. The SPL90 is equipped with an integrated stand-mount as well as multifunctional rigging points adapted to the Easy-rig™ flying system.

The SPL90 only weights a mere 38 kg. The low transmission-loss waveguide optimises the air-load on, and smoothly blends the radiation pattern of the two carefully selected and musically matched 10-inch and 1,5-inch transducers. The SPL90 adds the ease of plug-and-play to a solid and wide uniform coverage with exceptional transparent audio quality. Band pass filters and protection in the SPL90 and to the different bass cabinets have been fixed for a smooth musical transition, stable image and simple connection.
