Design philosophy

SOUND PROJECTS research and development is focussed on the interaction between amplifier, loudspeaker, cabinet and room. All in terms of heat reduction and radiation loss. Equally important are improvements that have been - and still are - realized in adapting sound-systems to contemporary demands: logistics, transport, cluster design and installation time. All of which are pressed into narrower and narrower time-slots. This has resulted in pragmatic speaker-systems that do justice to every musical detail, yet remain utterly convenient in operation. Therefore the requirements of contemporary concert or theatre productions as well as the needs of road-crews will always be met. Through the years SOUND PROJECTS realised a close co-operation and exchange of information between manufacturer, representatives and end-users. A key aspect to product improvement.

Important achievements are:

* Substantial size and weight reduction; most SOUND PROJECTS are smaller and less heavy than comparable competitors.

* Real plug-and-play set-up; no worries on impedance or overloading amp's or drivers. Need one more cabinet per side? Just plug-in. Need one more again? Just plug-in (and vice versa of course).

* Ease of rigging, transport and storage. Taking care of the sound system should be a pleasure, not a burden and a workout.
